You may already know something is not right. The staff need sorting.
The service is not where it should be. Costs feel hard to explain. Complaints keep coming back.
Your contractor may not be giving you the service or value you expected.
The difficult part is knowing what is actually causing it.
A catering problem rarely sits in one place. It may involve staff, service, costs, menus, contractor arrangements, compliance, kitchen setup or day-to-day processes.
That is where Fig Consultancy helps.
We look at the full catering picture, help you understand what is going wrong and give you clear next steps.

We brought them into a project where we were floundering and found them exemplary.Posted on Google![]()

Nothing but praise from us for the guys at Fig Consultancy. I have over 10 years of events catering experience, and have never met someone with the level of expertise & creativity which Simon possesses. He's helped us turn our very busy new premises into a well-oiled & profitable business. They've streamlined our processes (both prep and service), simplified our menu (without taking anything away from the quality) & taught us how create profitable weekly specials (instead of chaotic labour-heavy ones). I am now feeling much more confident in the scalability and future of our venture... Many thanks!Posted on Google![]()

Fantastic Lads! They have helped me, fellow Chefs and coworkers improve and maintain our business. Nothing we asked was too much trouble, they went above and beyond. Highly recommened them to any pub or restaurant needing a helping hand. They will be greatly missed. Its been a pleasure to have you guys!Posted on Google![]()

Although we met with Fig briefly for an initial visit, the short time we had with them has absolutely helped us and our business in ways you could not imagine. Our interaction helped us know we have a good food business and it has the potential to be great. They advised on finance/costing/online marketing/equipment for our endeavours etc. The advice and guidance from John, Simon & Rhys was invaluable and we have already made some plans to incorporate their suggestions. We will be working with Fig consultancy for the next 12 months in a mentoring capacity and we would advise any other small or large food business wanting to be successful to consider gaining support & insight from the guys here. Their accolades & experience speaks for itself. The Best in the Business in our opinion. 💚💛❤️Posted on Google![]()

Our pizza is amazing - but the menu was as typical as any other joint’s offer. We asked fig advice on how to enhance our offer with additional menu items - that have to be produced in a pizza oven. They gave us a product that uses our existing stock lines and created a lunch time offer that flew!!! We don’t want to say how easy it is to make in case every pizza joint in town does the same 😂

Fig Consultancy helps with catering operations, staff, training, costs, menus, kitchen setup, tenders, contractor management, compliance and service problems.
The first step is to understand what is happening now.
You do not need to know the cause yet. Many clients know something is wrong, but are not sure whether the issue is staff, cost, menu, contractor, compliance, kitchen setup or process.
The first conversation helps you get a clearer view.
Yes. Fig Consultancy helps schools, academies, MATs, local authorities and colleges review their catering operation, whether the service is in-house or outsourced.
Yes. A contractor review can help you understand service, value, standards, costs and whether the current arrangement still fits your needs.
The focus is practical support. You get clear findings, straight advice, and next steps connected to real catering operations.
You start with a call or meeting. You explain what is happening, Fig Consultancy asks the right questions, then you agree whether a review, site visit, or another next step makes sense.
That is common. The first step is to work out whether the issue relates to staff, service, costs, contractor value, menus, compliance, kitchen setup or process.
A first conversation can help you understand whether the current setup may already be costing time, money, service quality or control.
Bring the issue as it is. You can share any information you already have, but you do not need to diagnose the problem before we speak.
