Discovery Call is ideal if you’re clear you want some change in your operation but not yet clear on which area or problem is the priority.
You’ve thousands of priorities and catering is just one headache that you could do without
You’re juggling growth, staff, investment and operational decisions. You just need someone to run things past to bring clarity and direction.
You’re considering re tendering, or something isn't right , or you've other cost pressures elsewhere.
You want to stress-test your thinking before you commit.
No generic advice. Every question is focused on your context, constraints, and goals.
We start by getting laser-clear on what “success” looks like for you over the next 6–12 months.
Through targeted questions, we pinpoint the 1–2 constraints that are slowing everything else down.
You’ll walk away with 3 specific actions to take in the next 30 days—whether or not we work together further.
Every Discovery Call ends with an actionable plan, not vague motivation. Here’s how recent clients used their 30 minutes.
“In 30 minutes we did what we'd been procrastinating on for months. We left with a simple plan to refocus and concentrate on just one aspect that could have the biggest impact on our business. Three weeks later, we've achieved more in that time than we did in the last 9 months..”
Asaybi. Snape. — Head of Product, SVK
“We filled out the form and they rang us back within 30 minutes. I explained our dilemma, and John readjusted his diary and came to meet us. They knew who to phone and what needed to be done to sort out our kitchen. They did everything for us within 2 weeks, would have taken us at least 2 months and even then we would have struggled ..”
Jane Jones. — Director of Operations
“I messaged Fig about a design quote we had been given for a new kitchen, which we considered expensive . they agreed to do a site survey and identified that we only needed to replace a couple of pieces of equipment. Saved us a small fortune . ”
John Finchley — Design Consultant
If you don’t see your question here, you can ask it directly on the call or reply to the confirmation email.
We’ll briefly review where you are now, clarify what you’re aiming for, and identify the 1–2 biggest constraints in your way. Then depending on what we discuss, we’ll co-create a simple action plan. If it looks like working together beyond this call would make sense, we’ll discuss what that could look like, similarly if your issues are outside of our remit, we will tell you.
No. The Discovery Call is designed to be valuable as a standalone session. You’ll leave with clarity and specific next steps, regardless of whether we work together beyond the call. Many professionals use this single call to accelerate a decision they’ve been sitting on for months.
You’ll speak directly with one of our consultants, either John or Simon, depending on what information you put on your form, not an assistant or sales rep. You’re getting experienced eyes on your situation from the very first conversation.
Just have a clear sense of your current situation, what’s on your plate, and what “better” would look like 6–12 months from now. If there are documents or context that would be helpful, you can email them in advance once your call is scheduled.
We’ll only discuss engagement if it’s clearly a fit and we can help you. Packages vary depending on scope and level of support. Unlike other consultants we dont do quick fixes. If we identify and agree that your particular issue requires our support, we will map out a detailed proposal for you. However it is the discovery call that is the best place to align on what you actually need before talking numbers.
